Transit updates for fall

August 31, 2020

UBC Vancouver

Translink will be suspending the following transit routes, effective September 7:

  • 32 Dunbar / Downtown
  • 44 UBC / Downtown
  • 258 UBC / West Vancouver
  • 480 UBC / Bridgeport Station

UBC Okanagan

Kelowna Regional Transit is reducing the frequency of service to UBCO and suspending some routes temporarily until travel patterns resume. Changes include:

  • The #6 Glenmore route offering express bus service from downtown Kelowna, via Glenmore, and across John Hindle Drive accompanied by extended service hours and frequency
  • Re-routing the #4 Pandosy/UBCO Express from Highway 97 to Academy Way
  • Extending #23 Lake Country service hours and frequency
  • Suspending the #13 Quail Ridge route

    Applications for 2024 Thrive Grants open until Oct. 7

    Grants worth $300 are available for faculty and staff in Vancouver and the Okanagan who wish to host events that promote mental health during November, which is Thrive month at UBC. During the annual, month-long mental health initiative the UBC community is encouraged to learn about, talk about, and explore ways to support our mental health.
