Population health statistical research on vulnerable youth
Tell us about the team you work with – what do they do?
Stigma and Resilience Among Vulnerable Youth Centre is an amazing team of collaborators who do quantitative and qualitative research on vulnerable youth, both in Canada and internationally. We work towards knowledge transfer and dissemination, aiding the creation and implementation of health interventions, and examining strategies that aid in the betterment of youth's physical and mental well-being.
What trait do you most admire in others?
Empathy, curiosity and creativity. I believe that empathy is key in the betterment of everyone through communication and cooperation. Furthermore, curiosity and creativity can lead to finding new ways of living an interesting and better life.
What’s one personal experience you would encourage others to do/try?
Find something you do routinely and try changing something about it to do it in a different way. Taking a slightly different path in your regular route can be a fun little adventure.
