10 words or less to describe what I do at UBC:
I'm like a traffic court judge just for UBC.
The best thing about my work/role at UBC:
I get to forgive honest mistakes, to improve systems and accountability, and to teach customers how to avoid traffic fines in the future. Everyone can
My favourite place to spend my lunch hour :
I have five: 1) The Waterfall behind the hospital; 2) The Beaty Biodiversity Museum; 3) The Nitobe Garden; 4) The Detwiller Pavilion courtyard; and 5) The Foresty Building
My top UBC tip for my colleagues, or for someone beginning their UBC journey:
Search out opportunities to connect with every aspect of UBC, which is a city in microcosm. Everyone who works, studies, or lives here is contributing to the fabric of this community, and some of us do all three! This land had an amazing history long before there was a university here, and with an engaged community, it will have a long future serving as a model for sustainable living and learning.
