Peter Simpson named Associate Provost, Academic Affairs and Strategy

A message from Rehan Sadiq, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, UBC Okanagan

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Simpson has been appointed Associate Provost, Academic Affairs and Strategy, effective June 15, 2023, until June 30, 2025.

Dr. Simpson also currently serves as the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and holds a tenured appointment as Professor, Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, in the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science. Dr. Simpson earned his PhD in physics from the University of Western Ontario and holds MSc and BSc degrees from the University of Waterloo.
