Flags to be lowered on March 11 for COVID-19 National Day of Observance

On March 11, 2021, UBC will lower the following flags in recognition of the National Day of Observance, which commemorates the people who lost their lives and the significant impacts we have all felt because of COVID-19:

  • At UBC Vancouver, the Canada flag at Flagpole Plaza and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags at the North Plaza of the Life Building
  • At UBC Okanagan, the Canada, BC and Okanagan Nation Alliance flags
