Register for the Pick Your Peak Stair Challenge by April 15

The Pick Your Peak Stair Challenge is an initiative that encourages faculty and staff to incorporate movement, social connection, and physical activity throughout the day.

You can register a team of 4-6 people or sign-up as a solo climber (by 4pm on April 15), select your stair climbing goal, and start tracking your progress. 

Weekly participation prizes will be awarded randomly. After the challenge, prizes will be awarded to the highest individual climber and the team that has the highest average points per participant.

    Applications for 2024 Thrive Grants open until Oct. 7

    Grants worth $300 are available for faculty and staff in Vancouver and the Okanagan who wish to host events that promote mental health during November, which is Thrive month at UBC. During the annual, month-long mental health initiative the UBC community is encouraged to learn about, talk about, and explore ways to support our mental health.
