A message from Lesley Cormack, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UBC Okanagan
The work of faculty and staff over the past eight months has been inspiring. While the challenges of a global pandemic continue to impact our lives no matter where we are, we can be proud of our work in educating and supporting students and contributing to our communities.
Notably, this year and for the past 15 years, UBC Okanagan has actively supported the local United Way Southern Interior BC, through the UBC Okanagan United Way Workplace Campaign and Days of Caring. The United Way is working to provide relief and emergency funds to support both long-standing needs and emerging needs as a result of COVID-19, as well as mental health and addiction services, food security and shelter, and health and wellness services especially for children and youth.
