Call for applications for faculty research advisors

October 29, 2020

If you are a faculty member with the rank of professor, with demonstrated knowledge of UBC research policies and systems and significant grant funding experience, you are invited to apply to be a faculty research advisor.

The Vice-President Research and Innovation Office relies on faculty research advisors to provide strategic guidance, advice and leadership regarding research funding. Each advisor holds primary responsibility for a funding domain corresponding to a federal granting agency:

  • Canadian Institutes of Health Research
  • Social Science and Humanities Research Council
  • Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council

Research advisors serve a term of three years, which may be renewed once. The term begins January 1, 2021.

Application deadline: December 7, 2020
