Complete the Employment Equity Survey by Oct. 31

October 16, 2023

You are invited to complete the Employment Equity Survey, a confidential online survey that helps inform the university's understanding of the demographic composition of faculty and staff. This survey is one way to examine patterns and trends in employment across the university. Your participation will enable leadership to take important steps to identify and remove systemic barriers to equity and report on progress.

If you haven’t completed the survey, or completed it prior to Oct. 2021, please complete the latest version of the survey. You will also receive a personal invitation in your email soon. Those who completed the survey after Oct. 2021 can also now update their response. Completing the survey is quick, confidential and secure.

As a university, UBC is committed to doing better, to building more inclusive and equitable teaching and working spaces, and to creating a workforce that is reflective of the diversity of the student body and the wider community. A few minutes of your time spent completing this survey will provide UBC with better and more accurate data to advance equity and inclusion in our workplaces.

The deadline is Oct. 31.
