Celebrating UBC Vancouver's longest-serving staff
September 14, 2020
Later this week, a total of 104 staff members from UBC Vancouver, including 63 new inductees, will be honoured for their more than 25 years of service to UBC, at the annual 25 Year Club celebration.
Due to COVID-19, this year's celebration will be held virtually on September 18.
The 25 Year Club was established in 1971 by President Walter Gage to recognize the contributions of staff. In addition to inducting staff who have reached this major 25-year milestone, the event also honours those with 35 and 40 years of service, and - for the first time ever and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 25 Year Club - 50 years of service as well.
