Celebrating UBC Vancouver's longest-serving staff
September 27, 2021
Next week, a total of 90 staff members from UBC Vancouver, including 50 new inductees, will be honoured for their more than 25 years of service to UBC, at the annual 25 Year Club celebration.
This year's celebration will again be held virtually and is scheduled for October 7.
The 25 Year Club was established in 1971 by President Walter Gage to recognize the contributions of staff. In addition to inducting staff who have reached this major 25-year milestone, the event also honours those with 35 and 40 years of service, and as of 2020 — for the first time ever and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 25 Year Club — 50 years of service as well.
