Reserved carpool parking at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan

September 22, 2021

If you are carpooling to campus this fall, find out more about parking available to you.

UBC Vancouver

The Armouries Lot is reserved for vehicles arriving to campus with three or more individuals between 7:30am and 10:30am. Standard proof of payment is required. Carpool vehicles with paid parking permits for other parkades will be accepted in the Armouries Lot as long as you enter the lot between 7:30am and 10:30am. After 10:30am, the lot will return to its normal operation and standard parking rules and rates will apply to vehicles arriving after this time. The gate to the lot will be locked nightly to ensure the lot is empty each weekday morning. The lot will not be locked on weekends and overnight parking is not permitted. For more information, visit: https://parking.ubc.ca/carpooling.

Note that to ensure that all permit holders have available parking on campus, there is currently a waitlist in effect for all student permit requests. Find out more: https://parking.ubc.ca/.

UBC Okanagan

Carpool stalls are located in lots G and H for vehicles parking with two or more individuals. See the campus map for more information. To avoid a violation notice in a carpool stall, two or more individuals must be observed exiting the vehicle at the time of parking.
