Applications open for the UBC Wellbeing Strategic Initiative Fund
As a faculty or staff member, you can apply for a UBC Wellbeing Strategic Initiative Fund before July 9. These funds are granted to departments and units in Vancouver and the Okanagan to support the university's commitment to the Okanagan Charter to become a health and wellbeing-promoting institution, as outlined in UBC's Wellbeing Strategic Framework.

Celebrating the 2024 Banting Postdoctoral Fellows
Nine UBC postdoctoral researchers have received Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships.The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships is a program that provides federal government funding to the best national and international postdoctoral applicants who will positively contribute to Canada’s economic, social, and research-based growth. Apply for the 2024 Partnership Recognition and Exploration Fund
Applications are now open for the 2024 Partnership Recognition and Exploration (PRE) Fund. The PRE Fund awards up to $1,500 in funding to support collaboration and help build reciprocal relationships between community partners and UBC students, faculty, and staff. This year, there is a total of $50,000 to fund up to 33 community-university projects.Faculty and staff are invited to apply for funding until December 31, 2024, or until available funds are exhausted.
