Tips on how to digitally declutter this December
With many faculty and staff transitioning to remote working and teaching in 2020, there has been an increase in emails exchanged and files shared. Privacy Matters @ UBC and the University Records Management Office offer tips and strategies to help you and your team declutter digital files during December. During this month, work together as a team to clean up transitory email records, purge and organize shared files to increase efficiency and reduce storage costs.

Employers may be critical to optimizing the uptake of a COVID-19 vaccine
The UBC Pharmacists Clinic, in conjunction with UBC Health, Wellbeing and Benefits and UBC Occupational and Preventive Health, conducted a six-week survey with 586 faculty and staff. The findings suggest that as an employer, UBC has a role beyond including vaccination costs in the employee benefit plan.

Connect with climate experts at UBC
The UBC Climate Hub and the UBC Sustainability Initiative have launched the Climate Teaching Connector to help faculty members integrate climate-related content into undergraduate courses. Complete a 5-minute survey to identify your topic(s) of interest and teaching schedule and get paired with climate change and climate justice experts to deliver a 50 or 80-minute guest lecture.
