UBC Okanagan – Call for nominations for this year's Staff Awards of Excellence
The Staff Awards of Excellence celebrate the contributions of individuals instrumental in helping UBC’s Okanagan campus achieve its strategic imperatives, and to contribute to the commitment to create an outstanding work environment. Announcing the 2022/23 Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) funding recipients
Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) provides funding for eligible community organizations in BC to build partnerships and pursue shared projects with UBC. This year, over $745,000 in funding has been awarded to 31 community-university projects that will benefit communities and advance collaborative research, teaching, and learning. Receiving up to $25,000 each, these partnerships are exceptional examples of how communities are collaborating with students, faculty and staff to address priority issues across the province and enhance UBC research.

Submit an application to the Healthy Workplace Initiatives Fund Program
The Healthy Workplace Initiatives Fund Program is an annual fund available to UBC departments and units to support grassroots activities that promote wellbeing in the workplace.The program provides start-up funds and support for health-related, sustainable initiatives. You can apply for funding for programs that include yoga or fitness classes, building a community garden or investing in mental health training in your workplace.The deadline to apply for funding is Apr. 14.
