Celebrate Learning Week: Call for contributions
Celebrate Learning Week is a forum for the teaching and learning community to collaborate, network and engage in knowledge exchange. The week-long initiative will be hosted on May 2-9, and the theme is the Power of Place in Teaching and Learning. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate by coordinating and/or attending events that reflect on the power of place in teaching and learning experiences.

UBC biotech spin-off developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals to improve cancer treatment
With roots in UBC research, learn more about how three researchers are developing radiopharmaceuticals to improve cancer treatment. Based on more than a decade of ground-breaking research at UBC and BC Cancer, the cancer drugs act like a homing device — seeking out tumours to deliver targeted radiation treatment, while having minimal impact on nearby healthy tissues. This precision targeting results in drugs that can be more effective and have fewer side effects for patients than traditional radiation treatments.
