We all play a role in protecting ourselves and those around us, and making our campus safe. Participate in the annual ShakeOut drill on Oct. 19, and learn more about the risks in our community and what UBC is doing to plan ahead.The Great BC ShakeOut is an annual province-wide earthquake drill for everyone to practice how to protect themselves and be better prepared in the event of an earthquake. Dr. Pieter Cullis inducted into Canadian Medical Hall of Fame
UBC Faculty of Medicine professor, Dr. Pieter Cullis, is among six health leaders selected as 2024 Canadian Medical Hall of Fame inductees.Dr. Cullis, a professor in the department of biochemistry and molecular biology, has been recognized for his work in developing the lipid nanoparticle delivery technology that enabled effective injection of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.
